More than 130 construction companies in Varna business year ended
In one year construction companies in the Varna region fell by more than 130 and is currently entered in the register 600 companies, announced today the chairman of the Varna Chamber of Construction Valev Valentin.
In his decline in the activities of the industry compared to peak years from 2006 to 2008 is more than 50 percent, cited by BTA.
From 2005 to 2008 in 1521 have been issued building permits for residential buildings and 914 administrative, said Valev. Last year and early this number of permits decreased sharply.
Because of the crisis in the industry have made drastic cuts in manpower, including the best experts said Valev. According to the official data for the first months of this year the companies have released 484 people, but the actual number is many times greater.
The future of the industry is connected primarily with the implementation of state or municipal infrastructure projects is the opinion of Valev. He pointed out that the state should adopt clear rules for the conduct of construction tenders.
Valev predicts that tourism development will still exist, but in much smaller scale. He said serious niche industry is the development of golf tourism in the country.
